Last weekend I had a fantastic time at this classical music concert that had been recommended by a friend of mine. It’s one out of many Houston singles events that is set up by the dating service
she uses from time to time. What they actually do is set up a series of events where many single men and women can attend on Saturdays and Sundays. They make arrangements for car pooling too! I think they get special discounts at the venues, which is why they compile them into sets of Houston singles events in their marketing brochures. These Houston singles events vary from concerts, museum visits, live Broadway theatre shows, and even amusement parks that you can pay for in one package, what a deal! These things can keep you busy every weekend for the next two months, especially since Houston is such a large place and offers so many different entertainment options for anyone in all walks of life. It’s a great way to see the sights and get to meet different types of people without really having to date them on a regular basis and just to have a good time, really. Plus, the restaurants they make reservations to are just so wonderfully different (I love food!) and you can take in different dishes from different cultures. For example, last week we went to this traditional Texan barbeque place that made the most perfect steaks! I was so stuffed, I didn’t think I could eat another bite, then they came out with the yummiest homemade ice cream I have ever had in my entire life! It makes me so glad to be naturally skinny even though I like to eat large. I’m signing up for these trips for the next two months! Love it!
